China's national U16 football team training camp has been announced by the Chinese Football Association. Led by coach Kamimura Kenichi, a total of 27 players have been selected, including seven players from the Guangzhou Evergrande Football School. However, Zhang Hongfu did not make the cut.

According to the announcement, the U16 team will be preparing for the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers. The eighth phase of training will take place from October 3rd to October 18th in Dalian. Following the training camp, the team will participate in the U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers from October 19th to October 28th.

The coaching staff for the U16 team includes head coach Kamimura Kenichi, team leader Jing Weizhen, advisor Pei Yongjiu, assistant coaches Gu Chuan and Li Zhuangfei, goalkeeper coach Shi Meng, fitness coach Hoshino Hiroshi, translators Long Yongliang and Huang Weili, technical analyst He Peiqi, team doctor Su Xingtao, rehabilitation therapists Wang Lei and Guo Chao, and team logistics manager Li Kailiang.

The list of players includes representatives from various football clubs and academies, such as Shandong Taishan FC, Meizhou Hakka FC, Chengdu Rongcheng FC, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger FC, Shanghai Port FC, Changchun Yatai FC, Liaoning Shenyang Urban FC, Guangdong Guangzhou Leopard FC, Dalian FA, Hubei Football Association Xinghui Youth Training Academy, Suzhou Wuxian Middle School, and South China Normal University Affiliated Middle School.

With this strong lineup, the U16 national team is ready to train and compete in the upcoming Asian Cup qualifiers, hoping to showcase their talent and make their mark on the international stage.
